Learn moreRepair or replace?
Most walls can be repaired if the panels and tiebacks are still sound: joints sealed, voids filled, caps patched, anchors added. Replacement makes sense when panels have failed, the cap has dropped along much of the wall, or repeated repairs keep failing. A common rule of thumb in the industry is that once a repair approaches half the cost of a new wall, replacement is usually the better investment. A written inspection helps you decide.
